What is not allowed on Light Hosting, and how to report abuse.

Abuse Policy

This Abuse Policy is part of the Light Hosting Terms of Service. It lists what Customers may not do with the Services, and how anyone can report a Service that breaks it.

Effective 29 October 2026.

1. Reporting Abuse

1.1 Report abuse by email to contact@nortexdev.com or through the contact form. Anyone can report, with or without a Light Hosting account.
1.2 Include:

  • what the abuse is and when it happened,
  • evidence, such as screenshots, email headers or log excerpts,
  • your contact details, if you want to hear back.

1.3 Reports are reviewed as soon as possible, and within 48 hours. Reports of child sexual abuse material, phishing, malware and active attacks are prioritized.
1.4 Copyright and trademark complaints must also identify the protected work, state that the use is not authorized, and be sent by the rights holder or someone authorized to act for them.

2. Prohibited Content

Customers may not host, sell, link to or distribute:

2.1 content that is illegal in Poland, the European Union or the Customer's own country;
2.2 child sexual abuse material, which is reported to the authorities and terminated immediately without notice;
2.3 content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property, including pirated software, media, accounts or license keys;
2.4 malware, exploits, stealers, cracking tools or other software built to harm others or gain unauthorized access;
2.5 phishing pages, or pages that impersonate another person, business or brand;
2.6 stolen data, credentials, payment cards or personal information;
2.7 content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism, or incites violence or hatred against people based on a protected characteristic;
2.8 goods or services that are illegal to sell, including drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods and fraudulent documents.

3. Prohibited Activity

Customers may not use the Services to:

3.1 defraud customers, including taking payment for products that are never delivered;
3.2 send spam or unsolicited bulk email;
3.3 attack, scan or probe other systems, including denial-of-service attacks, port scanning and brute-forcing;
3.4 run open proxies, VPNs, mining software, or anything unrelated to the software the plan is sold for;
3.5 use an unreasonable share of shared resources, or interfere with other Customers or the Provider's infrastructure;
3.6 get around a suspension, limit or free trial restriction.

4. Enforcement

4.1 When the Provider receives a valid report or detects abuse, it notifies the Customer and, where reasonable, gives them 48 hours to remove the content or stop the activity.
4.2 The Provider may suspend a Service immediately and without notice when the abuse is severe, illegal, ongoing, or harms other people, other Customers or the Provider's infrastructure.
4.3 Repeated or serious violations lead to termination of the Service and the account without a refund.
4.4 The Provider cooperates with law enforcement and may share information about a Service and its owner when legally required, or to report child sexual abuse material.

5. Appeals

A Customer who believes their Service was suspended by mistake can reply to the notification or open a ticket in the client area with an explanation. The Provider reviews every appeal.
